Christy Holstege Donated to Socialist Politicians AOC and Bernie Sanders

(Bermuda Dunes, CA) - Today, the Greg Wallis for Assembly Campaign announced that Christy Holstege donated to Democratic Socialist politicians Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and Senator Bernie Sanders.
“Christy has made it clear that she’s a part of the Socialist Fringe of the Democratic Party,” said Duane Dichiara, Wallis Campaign Strategist. “Christy helps fund AOC’s campaign and in turn, AOC gives the American people a movement to ‘defund the police,’ a proposal to create a government-run health care system that would eliminate private health care and put bureaucrats in charge of your care, and a government program that could have eliminated millions of jobs. Christy isn’t just too liberal – she’s too radical for the 47th.”
Holstege donated to AOC in December of 2020, noticeably after AOC called to defund the police, cosponsored a national single-payer bill, and introduced her radical plan to nationalize the economy. “It’s unclear if these were the primary motivators of Holstege’s contribution to AOC, but they sure are troubling,” said Dichiara.
